Dance Your Dreams! 2010 Spring Recital
With special guest artists Rustin Matthew, Nick Gonzalez and Mollee Gray
Join us Saturday, May 22 as we congratulate our 2009-10 Dance Your Dreams! classes on their achievements this year. Dance Your Dreams! is Merrimack Hall's free weekly dance education program open to children with a variety of challenges, both physical and mental, including Cerebral Palsy, Down syndrome, autism, cancer and more. Each of our four classes will perform in this special event, featuring a special performance by Mollee Gray of FOX's hit TV show "So You Think You Can Dance"!

Master Class Faculty:
Rustin Matthew
Rustin Matthew is a dancer, teacher, choreographer and contortionist versatile in jazz, tap, ballet and hip hop. His television, commercial and film credits include Vanilla Sky, Aerosmith (the American Music Awards), "The Jimmy Kimmel Show," Asher Roth (Guy's Choice Awards), MTV's "Diary of Christina Aguilera," The Pussycat Dolls, iPod, McDonald's, the Olympics, ESPN, Adidas and commercials for JLo, Cher, Barenaked Ladies, Matchbox 20, Lit and Powerman 5000. He has performed at the El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood for the premieres of the Disney films Up, Bolt, Wall-E, Ratatouille, Herbie, Finding Nemo and many more. He has toured the globe in productions of Disneyfest and Cirque du Soleil's Masquerade. Currently, Rustin is on staff for Hollywood Vibe and Street of Dreams dance conventions and travels the country teaching master classes. In 2008, he launched a hip hop/rock/dance clothing company called BreaknBones.

Nick Gonzalez
Nick Gonzalez's performance abilities have placed him in the Top 25 male dancers on Season 1 and 2 of “So You Think You Can Dance”. He has appeared in such music videos as Usher’s “Yeah”, and his performance credits also include The Ying Yang Twins, Pitbull, Red Man, Fat Joe, Savion Glover and many more. Aside from his busy performance schedule, Nick creates eye-opening choreography all over the world for the hottest hip-hop groups and artist. His choreography was most recently seen at such shows as HYPE, Move It in London and Best Of The Midwest in Chicago. Nick is also the lead judge for Got Dance, the hit TV show in the Grand Cayman Islands. Nick has has become an international master class instructor for students of all ages. He currently instructs on Hollywood Vibe dance convention, and MUSE Dance Co., teaching everything from advanced hip-hop to basic tap. Nick’s teaching style has made him a favorite with every student. Whether on television or in the dance studio, Nick’s talents in performance, choreography and instruction give a new meaning to the phrase “Triple Threat.”.

Mollee Gray
Mollee Gray has been dancing for 15 years, training in Orem, Utah. Most recently, she was a member of the Top 6 dancers on Season 6 of FOX's hit "So You Think You Can Dance." She was a principle dancer in all three of Disney's High School Musical movies, and The American Mall. She has performed live on-stage with Jennifer Lopez and has appeared on "The Ellen Show" and in commercials for Sara Lee.

Saturday
9 a.m. - 10 a.m.: Jazz with Rustin, ages 12 and under
10 a.m. - 11 a.m.: Hip hop with Nick, ages 12 and under
11 a.m. - 12 p.m.: Scholarship audition*, ages 12 and under (opportunity to perform at Saturday night's recital)
12 p.m. - 1:30 p.m.: Jazz with Rustin, ages 13+
1:30 p.m. - 3 p.m.: Hip hop with Nick, ages 13+
3 p.m. - 4 p.m.: Scholarship audition*, ages 13+ (opportunity to perform at Saturday night's recital)
4:30 p.m.: Dance Your Dreams! recital featuring a solo performance by Mollee Gray, and performances by local dance studios, and selected dancers from scholarship auditions.
Sunday
9 a.m. - 10 a.m.: Lyrical jazz with Rustin, ages 12 and under
10 a.m. - 11 a.m.: Tap with Nick, ages 12 and under
11 a.m. - 12 p.m.: Master class with Mollee, ages 12 and under
12 p.m. - 1:30 p.m.: Lyrical jazz with Rustin, ages 13+
1:30 p.m. - 3 p.m.: Tap with Nick, ages 13+
3 p.m. - 4 p.m.: Master class with Mollee, ages 13+

*Scholarship auditions: Dancers must attend Saturday master classes to be able to audition for scholarships, and a performance opportunity in the evening's Dance Your Dreams! recital.
Level 3: Scholarship to one dance workshop event at Merrimack Hall (five dancers in each age group).
Level 2: Scholarship to one year of dance workshops at Merrimack Hall (two dancers in each age group).
Level 1: Scholarship to one year of dance workshops at Merrimack Hall, and $100 cash (one dancer in each age group).
