Chef Bill was born in upstate New York and grew up in the mountains of central Virginia; he started his career at Simp McGhees in Decatur. He worked in some of Huntsville’s best kitchens, including Santa Fe Grill, Pauli’s & 801 Franklin. Chef Bill was the driving force behind the inspiration for Below the Radar, The Railyard & Whisk’D Cafe. Now back in the area after 780 days in Maine, he is the executive chef at The Brewers Cooperative.
