We are striving to make Huntsville and Madison County the gold standard for inclusion in Alabama; it is our wholehearted belief that everyone deserves access to the arts. Participating at Merrimack Hall has made a remarkable difference in the lives of many in our community, and we hope to continue our outreach efforts and grow with your family!

Whether you are looking to join our adult program (Happy Days), or our after-school arts education program (Happy HeARTs), if you are new to our programs, please fill out the form below.

Once we have received your submission, our programming director will review it and be in touch with you shortly! We will get to your registration inquiry ASAP and let you know the next steps to joining our programs.

Curriculums, created to meet our participants at their point of need, generate priceless amounts of self-confidence and cultivate creative independence on the floor of our dance studio, stage, or visual art spaces.  Depending on the semester, we generally offer weekly classes in visual art, theatre, music, choir, tumbling, general fitness, dance, creative movement, hip hop, yoga and many, many more!

Our comprehensive, year-round activities improve the quality of life for hundreds of children and adults with a variety of disabilities and diagnoses such as Down syndrome, autism spectrum disorders, cerebral palsy, spina bifida, intellectual disabilities, traumatic brain injuries, visual impairment and others. The long-term vision of Merrimack Hall remains focused on granting people with special needs typical social interactions and opportunities to participate in the visual and performing arts.

all individuals deserves access to the arts

The heart of Merrimack Hall is the community of lives that have been connected through the arts. The quality of life for people with special needs has been drastically improved by Merrimack Hall, as we work toward bringing the people we serve out of the shadows and into the life of our community.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Merrimack Hall is taking every possible precaution to ensure the safety all of individuals involved in our programs. At this time, this involves limited class sizes and limited inter-personal interactions. Our facility is thoroughly cleaned on a regular basis to ensure the health and welfare of our entire population. Merrimack Hall reserves the right to suspend program involvement due to failure to comply with safety protocols.
